Why Electric Radiant Floor Heating?

At this point, you may be asking, “Why floor heating?” This question may seem to have an obvious answer, but infloor electric heat provides more than just warm toes.

Radiant floor heating is actually the most effective way to heat a room. The reason involves well-known principle of energy physics: heat rises. In a radiant heat system, warmth from the floor will rise up towards the ceiling, pushing cooler air down where it can be heated as well.

This is an even more effective method than having a single floor vent in the room. Rather than heating from a single location (which also limits how you can position your furniture), radiant floor heat is spread across the entire room.

The topic of duct work brings up another great benefit of floor heating: the reduction of allergens.

The fact is, unless you have your ducts regularly cleaned, they will begin to accumulate debris. This could include dust, rodent droppings, or even mold. When the HVAC system runs, all of these allergens hiding in the ductwork are blown into the room.

Underfloor heating systems warm the air in your house, without forcing in harmful particles from somewhere else.
